Murrah Building in Oklahoma City, spawned an epic constitutional battle over desegregating Central High School in Little Rock and combined with Oklahoma to produce Elohim City, the religious community Timothy McVeigh called shortly before the bombing, also reared Billy Joe Roper Jr.

Rumor has it, one of the members of the Morrilton First Church of The Nazarene a few weeks or months ago turned out to be gay and made the mistake of fessing up to it. Well that didn't set well with the congregation at all, so the members supposedly "Corrected" him with the Bible and he is now a full fledged bonafide Heterosexual. Now exactly what does this correcting thing mean, good question because I'm totally in dark about it, the only kind of correctin I can remember is whatever my daddy could get his hands on and applied with brute force to back sides of our ass's. I mean do these Nazarene members have some kind of direct line or link to God or to the mind of God. And this all happened within a few short weeks or months. I'm of the mind that all they did was correct this poor soul right on back into the closet along with the rest of the closet cases in this neck of the woods. Kind of makes me wonder also, why those self same members aren't correcting the depression, the poverty, all of the physical illness and why some of the members quit being a member because they were so pissed off at what some of the elders of this self same Church were doing with the money from the collection plate. So guess if you don't want to a "Homo" no moe, just come on down to The First Church of The Nazarene right here in Morrilton and yes you to can be corrected into a full fledged bonafide true blue Heterosexual.
June 18th 2010 an update on the gay guy that fessed up to the congregation in the Nazarene Church, the rumor mill has it being corrected with the Bible wasn't so effective after all and didn't even work. Instead of it turning him straight, again rumor has it he quit the Nazarene chuch completely and is now openly gay and is working right here in Morrilton.
One woman who hasn't lived in Morrilton for a number years sent an email to the editor of our local newspaper, stating that Morrilton should be named as a "Tourist Attraction". Yeah right, "Sin City Trap" to be avoided at all cost would be more the words I would choose to use, not only that but were a poll taken for the deadest towns in the country Morrilton would surely be found in the Top Ten. In other parts of the Country and even in some parts of Arkansas, Morrilton is known as the "Political Graveyard". In fact as dead as this town is at night I'm surprised someone hasn't tried to shut the Internet down until daylight hours in this rotten no where town, and don't try and tell me they can't do that. Here in Morrilton, Arkansas, they do whatever they damned well please as long as it doesn't step on the wrong damned toes. Hey I'm one of those Social Outcast that your always reading or hearing about, doesn't change anything for me one way or the other. I don't owe this town or this state one bit of loyalty and I sure as hell do not have any gratitude for it, I plan on finishing my remaining time in life in poverty, sitting my fucking apartment and virtual seclusion.
Closed and Hate filled Small town Minds
The hate, fear, closed mindedness and greed in Morrilton is a living, breathing tangible thing that lives only to breed more hate, fear and greed and more hopelessness. Morrilton drains the very life force and will power from any who exist here. Even a reasonable measure of happiness and optimism cannot survive here long. For the poison's in this location will drain them completely and put in their place feelings of hate, anger, hopelessness, utter despair and an overall loss of energy. Medical care is some of the worst in the State and mental help is for all extents and purpose's virtually Non-existent. Morrilton is located in the heart of Conway County and between two major cities (Conway and Russellville) is bounded by the counties Faulkner, Perry, Pope, and Van Buren. Has an average mean populace of around 6000 and it's only major claim to fame to a major landmark is Petite Jean Mountain and State Park.
The Redneck Way
Morrilton, for most is a stealer of dreams, a thief of hope and stealer of life itself. I hate Morrilton because those in it are so filled with hate and closed mindedness that the only way to live in it is through living a lie, and only a chosen few can move away from it and fewer still are allowed to move up the social ladder. All other's are tracked down through contacts in the VA Regional Office, through contacts in the Postal Service and through Morrilton's, illegal wiretaps and outright forced through one means or another to have to return. So the next time you make or receive a telephone call on your "Oh So Private Line" you may or may not wish to give some thought to just who may or may not be listening in and for what reason. Word used to be the pay phone that was located in front of the Old Valley Food Market on Moose Street was wired directly into the Morrilton Police Station. The former mayor of Morrilton passed an ordnance outlawing scanners because he found out the Police had been listening in on his cordless phone conversations

Try turning the postal problem over to the main postal service in Washington and it's referred right back to the very asshole doing it in first place, it becomes just another repeat of the past and it's business as usual. See I always thought that mail with a correctly addressed and registered through the United States Postal Service was delivered to that address regardless of what name is on it. But what do I know, according to Morrilton's post office they "have to know" who is at that address.
See I always thought that mail with an invalid address or that couldn't be delivered was returned and marked No Such Address or Incorrect Address or Undeliverable Address, but again what do I know. That actually happened to me with some Veterans Material from the VA and sent from Baton Rouge, LA and how the hell Baton Rouge got the 900 addresses is a total mystery. The material was mailed out on or about 2001 or 2002 and was sent to 900 Wills St., which became invalid in May 1988 due to the death of my mother.
After I returned to Morrilton in 2003 and registered my new Morrilton address the VA material (which was no longer useable) that should have been returned to Baton Rouge, LA was delivered to my New Address and no that was not good-hearted concern on the part of the Morrilton Post Office. That was flat out someone keeping track and having every intention of my eventual return to Morrilton and on the lookout for my current address. Not only that but a family member got pissed because I included this little paragaph even threatening to dis-own me. Told me it felt like people were looking at them weird, well I've felt like ever since grade school, jr. high, all the military and right to the present.
I've learned to simply ignore it and go about what I'm doing. No one in Morrilton will dictate what I write, weather they're trying to do it through a family member or otherwise. Morrilton has forced itself into every area of my life that it can force itself into, and the fucking buck stops here because there are areas people in Morrilton simply will not force themselves into and my writing is one of them. See the God Damned lily livered cowards here don't have the guts to do it openly or themselves, they do it through their bought off or scared off spies and flunkies or through what if complusions. Any of them come out in the open By God their anonymity is blown to hell in a hand basket and they can then be held accountable.
When I soon move from Arkansas, my sister's mailbox will again start filling up with material from CAVHS, and for two main reasons. (Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System) and the VA Regional Office will be fishing for where I moved, and the material will be so old and out dated it will be outright useless. Bucking the System in Morrilton gets you blacklisted for life or in some case's a lot worse, depending on what crowd your part of. Morrilton is nothing more than the old style Dixie Mafia with new players, nothing more nothing less. And I just hope God punishes Morrilton, those responsible and The Department of Veterans Affairs.
